"My name is not my own. It is borrowed from my ancestors. I must return it unstained. My honour is not my own. It is on loan from my descendants. I must give it to them unbroken. Our blood is not our own, it is a gift to generations yet unborn. We should carry it with responsibility." ~ Vincent Enlund
"The most offensive humour is simply the truth said in a funny way, because the truth hurts." ~ Born-of-Wolves
"The perfect system is one that is willing and able to see its imperfections." ~ Born-of-Wolves
"In the eyes of the uncivilised, civilisation is oppression." ~ Born-of-Wolves
"Aggression is part of human nature. Denying that is the same as denying yourself. People only seem to support compassion, but that is only one side of the coin." ~ Ask-War
"Death solves all problems - no man, no problem." ~ Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin
"Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world." ~ Siddhārtha Gautama Buddha
"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." ~ Mohandas Gandhi.
"We make war that we may live in peace." ~ Aristotle
"Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realize we cannot eat money." ~ Cree Proverb
"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children." ~ Chief Si'ahl of the Dkhw’Duw’Absh (Suquamish) Tribe.
"The industrial way of life leads to the industrial way of death." ~ Edward Abbey
"Our culture isn't just different than one that makes death threats to cartoonists; it's better." ~ Bill Maher
"You do not need the Bible to justify love, but no better tool has been invented to justify hate." ~ R. A. Weatherwax
"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty, I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." ~ C.S. Lewis
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able, and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God." ~ Epicurus
"Well, I am not religious in any way, but I have a Pagan ideology and Pagan values. I believe in blood, soil and honour; family, homeland and hamingja; strength, traditions and courage. And I believe in a Europe waking up." ~ Varg Virkenes
"Christianity was created by some decadent and degenerated Romans as a tool of oppression, in the late Roman era, and it should be treated accordingly. It is like "handcuff's" to the mind and spirit and is nothing but destructive to mankind. In fact I don't really see Christianity as a religion. It is more like a spiritual plague, a mass psychosis, and it should first and foremost be treated as a problem to be solved by the medical science. Christianity is a diagnosis. It's like Islam and the other Asian "religions" a HIV/AIDS of the spirit and mind." ~ Varg Virkenes
"I love science, and it pains me to think that so many are terrified of the subject or feel that choosing science means you cannot also choose compassion, or the arts, or be awed by nature. Science is not meant to cure us of mystery, but to reinvent and reinvigorate it." ~ Robert Sapolsky
"Islam was not a torch, as has been claimed, but an extinguisher. Conceived in a barbarous brain for the use of a barbarous people, it was - and it remains - incapable of adapting itself to civilization. Wherever it has dominated, it has broken the impulse towards progress and checked the evolution of society." ~ Andre Servier
“Men will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.” ~ Denis Diderot
"Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of the ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. So are our emotions in the presence of great art or music or literature, or acts of exemplary selfless courage such as those of Mohandas Gandhi or Martin Luther King Jr. The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both." ~ Carl Sagan
"Compassion for animals is intimately connected with goodness of character; and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man." ~ Arthur Schoepenhauer
"Small minds can’t comprehend big spirits. To be great, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated, and misunderstood. Stay strong." ~ Robert Tew
"The blood is for us the symbol of the living. The blood of ancestors flows through the chain of generations and binds then in a great linkage of destiny, beat and time." ~ Oswald Spengler
"Race, in the end, is stronger than languages, and thus it is that, under all great names, it has been thinkers--who are personalities--and not systems--which are mutable--that have taken effect upon life." ~ Oswald Spengler
"Feminists have emphasized for a long time the importance of each woman's individual entity and the necessity of economic independence. Perhaps it was necessary. But now I think we need some emphasis on the instinctive side of life, sex and motherhood.... Life isn't all earning your living. Unfortunately we fall in love and Feminism must take that into consideration." ~ Dora Russell
"I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are venomous enough, or secret, subterranean and small enough - I call it the one immortal blemish upon the human race." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
"To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticise." ~ Voltaire
"Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion." ~ Steven Weinberg
MY FAVOURITE LYRICS:
"We're the defenders of legend and myth
We'll cherish these songs to the day of our death
And when the times of our last breath has come
We pass through the gates of Heimdal
And if you believe an old world will rise
Gods will stand strong and old songs will be sung
In the halls of Odin" Vanir ~ Sons of the North
"Usurpers of our Legacy, distorting Native lore,
Import a creed unnatural onto our Emerald shore
Usurpers of our Legacy, demonising Ancient Gods
Plagiarise our Festivals, foulest of all frauds
Usurpers of our Legacy, they'll never keep us down.
Rise up, now is the time, reclaim the Pagan crown" Waylander ~ Usurpers of our Legacy
"For the Pagan past I live and one day will die" Týr ~ Hold the Heathen Hammer High
"We seem so eager to dissent
Yet through inaction we but approve each restraint
We keep on begging please govern us
Freedoms abridged, utopia is distrust" Sybreed ~ Downfall Inc.
"So how can you look the world in the eyes
When all we can see is corruption and lies?" Billy Talent ~ Viking Death March
"The are the lands, the lands of my birth
Soon to be ruins, the ruins of my past
And when the sky should fall
The earth to ashes turn
Then you know they shall be my tomb" Primordial ~ Empire Falls
"The more I'm straining,
The less I attain
What has been built,
All in vain
The more I'm gaining,
The less I sustain
Another wellspring to drain" Solution .45 ~ Wirethrone
"We will never forget
The things we've seen
The deaths we died
The tears we cried
We will never regret
We defied" Eluveitie ~ Uxellodunon
"When there's no hope left
We will not fall
Among the giants
We still stand tall
And we will not be stopped!" Whitechapel ~ The Saw is the Law
"When I am dead
Lay me in a mound
Place my weapons by my side
For the journey to Hall up High
When I am dead
Lay me in a mound
Raise a stone for all to see
Runes carved to my memory" Amon Amarth ~ Runes to My Memory

I am an Agnosric Pagan with Irish heritage. The most important word to me in the Irish language is Crógacht, which means 'courage'. Crógacht is a very important value to me, and I hold to it strongly. I face all trials with the steel and pride of the warriors of old. My idol is Cúchulainn, a great Irish warrior, son of Lugh of the Long Arm. He was the personification of crógacht, and I long to be like him.
I don't want to accidently kill my own son, though. That I don't want to do. Poor Conlaoch...
